ok, this is my first NHL season and I'm trying to understand how this playoff thing works, but can someone please tell me why the Pens are Playing the Bolts eight times???
@AussieGal ... its not actually 8 times (there should be 7 games listed) because it's "the best of 7" meaning exactly that ... the winner has to win 4 games to move onto the next round. The games listed after the 4 games are "if necessary" meaning that if the teams are tied 2 games a piece OR one team won 3 and the other 1 by the end of the first 4 games then there has to be more played to decide the winner ... BOTTOM LINE ... a team must win 4 in each round to move onto the next round ("best of 7")! ; D
Do you understand now or do you need me to explain something further??
