I think it's safe to say that Sid is "itching" to hoist that Stanley Cup, but recently I've noticed that he hasn't been able to keep from itching his playoff beard / "stache." Since it became distracting enough for me, I decided to count just how many times he did it in the post-practice interview from yesterday (see if you can guess before you watch -I didn't count those first two "face touches" or any nose / face wipes)!! The number seems a little low for how distracting it became especially towards the end of the interview, but I must say it made watching fun!! OK, I know - when is watching Sid NOT FUN?!!! ; )

I only guessed five. Eight is, wow, a lot! At least he's just itching his "beard." Steve Mason touches his face all the time during interviews, and he can't use the beard excuse. It's creepy!
