Wife of LA Kings' Penner Files for Divorce

Any of you ladies want to comfort Dustin Penner?  With the week / year he's been having, I think he could use some TLC!!!

He and his wife, Jessica Welch, have only been married a year and this isn't the first time FOR HER.  She was married to her first victim, Richard Zednik, for five years (and with whom she had a daughter) and now Penner.

No wonder he's been having a "horse(crap)" season (shame on you, coach Sutter, for talking about your player like that when he's having issues at home!) -- poor guy!!!  Let's try supporting a guy when he's "down!"

the question is ....is she done? Or just going to move on to another NHL player? and why do these guys continue to hook up with women making the rounds at the rink?

My take on this is that guys hook with women like that because of a sense of entitlement once they've made it big. It's the models only/average girls need not apply rule and a lot of those girls get by solely because of their looks and have very little else to offer.

I give her a couple of months before she's hooked up with another athlete probably someone with a higher profile and more money.

Depressing isn't it?

I'll take care of him. I may not be a supermodel, but I give good hugs and make a mean stack of pancakes. :D

I highly doubt she's done ... girls like this make a life of it (instead of working like us normal gals do!)!! I don't get it ...

And if they're going to choose girls like this based on looks then GOOD FOR THEM (they get what they deserve) ... looks ain't everything boys!!

I'm sure she'll be back at it against soon - marriage / divorce #3???

There are better gals out there guys ... LOOK HARDER (past the boobs!)!! ; )

Seriously though can you imagine living that life?

Constantly sweating it out at the gym, watching every morsel that goes into your mouth, loading up on botox and restylane as soon as a sign of a wrinkle appears and having to look picture perfect all of the time in case someone snaps a pic, endless trips to the hairdresser, spray tan booth and manicurist. Sound likes bloody hard work to me.

Do these girls ever get to be themselves or have an off day?

I'm a lot happier to just be me after I read that interview with Gwyneth Paltrow a while back:
“It's not an accident. It's not luck, it's not fairy dust, it's not good genes. It's killing myself for an hour and a half five days a week,” Paltrow told Self magazine.

The Oscar-winner has not ben shy about talking about her drastic diets in the past, writing in her Goop newsletter about the juice fast, elimination diet and 21-day salad and smoothie cleanse she has put herself through in recent years.
There's no way I'd want to live me life like that. Gives you some perspective doesn't it?
