The annual Skates & Plates event was held on Monday, March 30th and raised over $240,000 this year to benefit the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and The Mario Lemieux Foundation.
Commemorative aprons signed by a Penguins player and embroidered with the event logo are part of an online auction through April 10. One apron signed by the entire team is also up for bid. Proceeds from the auction will also benefit the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and The Mario Lemieux Foundation.Marc-Andre Fleury and Max Talbot were tied for the highest amount of tips received during the evening.
