Tanger lovers can rest easy today!!! The Penguins just announced this morning that they've extended his contract for four more years (beginning in the 2010-2011 season).
Four more years of watching that lovely, flowing "sex-hair!" YAHOOOOOO!!

YAY! I love Tanger! and he's been playing so good lately! He definitely deserves this!!
I'm SOOO super excited that Tangers is signed again.. it'd be nice to have him in Dallas haha, but I love the Pens and I'm glad he's playing with them! :)
Yay! I am so excited that they resigned Tanger. He is really a great defenceman, and ohhhh so sexy. hehe. But, I am worried about what this means for Gonchar! I hope they can resign Gonch too!

I've heard of actresses and singers having to sign contracts that they'll maintain a certain look and not do anything drastic with their hair (usually when they promote cosmetics or something). Think there might be a clause like that in Letang's contract? ;-)
I left my room at 8 this morning and only just now got back after classes and meetings and whatnot, to some of the greatest emails EVER. First was from FSN Insider informing me that my beloved Tanger was going to remain in Pittsburgh for four more years! And the second was telling me that I had an interview for the editor position I'd applied for. =] So hopefully that works out and I'm so excited that Tanger is going to stay. He's such a great guy and he fits in so well here. I'm off to go be useless for the rest of the day, even though I can't really afford to...
As for the rest of the free agents...I didn't realize we had so many! I saw a list this morning and was like, WHOA!! Poni, Billy G, Feds, Cooke, Sarge, Eaton, Leopold, McKee, and Johnson! I want them all to stay...please, Mr. Shero? (insert puppy eyes) They all have to stay at least until I get that internship I'm gunning for - they're not allowed to leave! Lol.
@Lilo: I believe we (the fans) need to have a talk with Ray Shero about that... ;]

I saw this on my Pens alert the and was definitely happy!!! :-) I love how he explained how it's like a family and they're growing up together (sorry don't have the exact quote as they flashed it during the game the other night).
