UGH ... Life!

You know ... sometimes life just happens at the most inconvenient times!! ; P

Sometimes I get in these little moods and I'm just so overwhelmed and mentally drained that I don't even feel like doing fun things like keeping up-to-date with this blog (which SUCKS big time for me!)!!!

If you've been following for any length of time (since I'm usually pretty open and honest about alot of things), you may have realized that I do have these "ruts" which sadly interfere with the blogs much to my dismay (nonetheless, this isn't the first time). It's something that's actually completely out of my control no matter how good my intentions are. I mean, I CAN'T EVEN FIND THE STRENGTH TO FIND / POST CROSBY PICTURES!!!!!! : (

Anyway, I feel the need to explain because many of you are quite loyal followers and look forward to reading the blog (as much as I enjoy working on it), so I just feel compelled to let you know why I haven't posted and that it may take me a little bit to get back in the swing of things (I just wish I could get into a rhythm and keep with that, but we all know that life doesn't work that easily!)!! But NEVER FEAR ... I'm NOT going anywhere and I'm not so distraught that I'm considering moving away from my laptop to allow my hormones to evaporate, so to speak ... I haven't reached that point yet (and hope it will never come to that ... Kena and I joke all the time about being roommates in our 90's at some retirement community keeping all the ladies informed and interested in the "nice young men of hockey" with HftL!)!!! I DO still have my sense of humor, so that's a good thing!! ; P

So I KINDLY ASK that you all hang in there with me and I promise to be back up and working shortly!!! In the meantime if you have any suggestions, questions, or comments (or just want to tell me off), please feel free to post or email me. I do enjoy hearing from you ladies!!!

THANKS!!!!!

PS -- I am going to the game tonight, so I'm hoping to be able to find some inspiration there to get me moving as well (I'm pretty confident that could do the trick, but you never know!)!!!

Everyone has their good days and bad days. Hope the game cheers you up! That usually does the trick for me.

I'm sorry life is overwhelming you so much right now. It really stinks when you get to feeling that overloaded. :(
I hope the game helps you to relax tonight. :)
Don't worry about us. We're not going anywhere. :)

Echoing what others have said: I'm sorry you're feeling so overwhelmed. Trust me, I know the feeling. And if fun things just aren't fun right now, take a break! We'll be here when you're ready to come back. I hope your boys give you a good game and some inspiration tonight :)

We all go through it. I'm going through it right now with my midterms coming up before my college get's out on Spring Break. I have four exams to study for three papers to do...it's a little crazy for me. I feel like exploding half the time. We're all here for ya!

Haha, so funny you should mention this post. I was just thinking about it today how you haven't posted and I couldn't understand why because everything has been so Crosby-centric lately. Hope things start to look up soon :)

No biggie, my life is like that right now as well. Stressed from school, my Nana just passed away...we all have those times.

I hope you're feeling better soon! Hopefully the Pens win tonight and make you feel 100x better! :)

No kidding, I had a total melt-down at work last week (something that hasn't happened in years) I told my boss that I'm just tired of EVERYTHING and feel like nothing can make me happy right now. She thinks I need a vacation.
So, Steph, don't worry---take the time you need to get back to YOU!!!

LADIES ... thanks for all the great comments and stories relating to my situation right now ... I truly appreciate it! Last night's win was a potent dose of something I needed to get my blood pumping and itching to write about hockey (and HOT HP's!)!! I'm thinking I'll recover quicker than expected and we may even have a "catch up" day here to cover everything I missed over the last few days, so THANKS!!!
