Last Friday, the Penguins players blew off a little steam at Excuses Bar & Grill in Southside ... it turned out to be an amazing night for everyone lucky enough to be at the bar.From the Excuses Bar & Grill Facebook page ...

Pittsburgh Frank "Craig Adams was singing lead & Sid did back up on 'Don't Stop Believing'. Mike Rupp sang 'The Gambler'. And it may have been Adams again on 'Sweet Caroline'. Can't quite remember. But, I do remember the crowd chanting 'Let's Go Pens' during the Bah Bah Baah part of the chorus. Bless the Pens effort on the mike but they should stick with thier day jobs."

oh my God i know exactly where that bar is at too like 15 min from my house all though i dont go to bars that much at all i would have paid thing to have been there that is so awesome. dont mean to a basher but hmmm i wonder if this can be good comparison to a certain number 7 on how to act in public and treat people way to go guys this is how you act in bars

This is absolutely great. I hope most of these guys can be together next season. I have friends (mostly male) who try to convince me there's no cute in hockey, but the Penguins always prove that wrong!
Um ... you're not bashing anyone @lizagirl84 ... Ben made his own bed and must now lie in it (there are choices in life and the Pens prove time and time again that they can handle them!)
And I think the pictures are actually from the EXCUSES facebook page and it seems to me there are more on FB (but I could be wrong).

@stephanie totally agree. oh and by the way back in january Staal came us steel building to deliver tickets to upmc big wigs and my brother is security supervisor for the building and was his escort. how awesome is that. and of course you cant ask for anything autographs or anything all my bro could say was icant believe im in the same elevator as Jordan Staal. and you know how he responded "no big deal man i just shoot a puck around the ice no big deal". yeah how freakin down to earth are these people
@lizagirl84 -- VERY COOL ... I've heard more than once how down-to-earth all the guys are (and it would kill me not to get an autograph being that close!)!!
