It's not directly hockey-related, but I saw it today and I felt like it was HftL-worthy!! And this can make up for no ECEC today (since I DO have pics for tomorrow!).
I'm a big fan of Taylor Lautner (I guess you could say I'm on Team Jacob!)!! I'm not as big of a fan of him as I am of hockey / hockey players, of course, but I told my friend she should definitely watch the Twilight movies just because Taylor "has a body fit for UA" or a.k.a. "UA-worthy" (UA = Under Armor -- and all you hockey and Twilight fans KNOW WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!)!!
I forgot what I was watching, but I caught a glimpse of Taylor today in his new movie "Abduction," which was filmed in Pittsburgh. He is rockin' a Pirates jersey (quite nicely!)!!
OH, and while searching for pics of him in the Pirates jersey, I found one of him at a hockey game (it just happened to be Game 7 of the 2009 Stanley Cup final WHEN THE PENS WON over the Wings!); unfortunately, he was cheering on the Red Wings since he was born in Grand Rapids (check out the jersey -- GOOD he's a hockey fan; NOT GOOD he's a Wings fan!)!!

The fact that he's a hockey fan and....so hot, want to touch the hiney...sorry, couldn't resist lol. Him filming a movie in Pittsburgh well makes up for being a Red Wings fan in my eyes :)
The hiney is almost as lucious as Sid's!! ; P
LOVE Taylor, LOVE that he's a Wings fan :) I'm definitely Team Jacob haha
@Deanna - I'm certainly not going to hold it against him that he's a Wings fan (he's from MI) because he's just too DARN SEXY!!! : D
I just LOVE that he's a hockey fan!!!
Having worked on Abduction, I can confirm that Taylor Lautner is really that pretty in person! And extremely nice and down-to-earth. His dad (who is seated to his right in the hockey picture) is a producer on the film and was on set every day. Some of the days I worked, Taylor's grandparents had come down from Michigan to visit - they were adorable and clearly proud of their grandson!
That's so very COOL, @Lauren (you're a lucky girl!) -- thank you for sharing that (LOVE insider scoop!)!! ; ) Would you mind my asking what exactly you do (what's your job)? : D
Stephanie, I worked as an extra on several scenes shot at PNC Park and some other work done on a closed set in the Strip District. It was such an awesome experience and I am DYING to see the film!
That's really neat, @Lauren, I'm sure it was even cooler being part of it and I can understand you're being anxious to see it!! Now I can't wait to see it either ... BOTH "Slap Shot" and "All the Right Moves" were filmed in my hometown (really close to my house) and it was really neat seeing all the familiar places without being in it so I can't imagine how fun seeing yourself in it would be!!
THANKS again for sharing!! : )
