Yes - I DO Know Who I AM and I'M PROUD OF IT (THANKS for the Link, Bitch!)!!!!!!

I just wanted to voice my opinion right now because I came across something that is really pissing me off (and I think it would piss some of you off too). It's not only poking fun at me, but alot of readers of this blog along with the things that alot of us enjoy.

Let me begin by saying that obviously being in your 20's gives some of us a free license to be a large, mouthy, ignorant bitch (YEA, BITCH!)!!!!!!!

Even though I understand its a little weird to post a rant like this without directing it to someone / somewhere, giving a link, or even giving more information, I really don't feel that this is something that is deserving of anyone else to see especially when it will no doubt upset other people aside from me. I would just rather not do that to anyone else - honestly. I really have to get these thoughts out of my head and I'll be done with it. And to be even more honest, I don't want them getting any undeserved traffic to their sites - NOT FROM ME ANYWAY!!

HftL is accepting of everyone and judges no one, but these chicks - from the very beginning of this blog - have done nothing but run their big mouths, made fun of everyone / everything that is different from who they strive hard / claim not to be and, ABOVE ALL, have perfected the fine art of being a superficial, judgemental, raging BITCH (only to be supported / followed by like-minded individuals AND small-minded individuals who don't have a sole thought of their own!)!!! What's amusing is that some of their present followers started out as followers of HftL -- if they only knew!!!!!! Hypocritical little assholes - and YOU know who YOU are - they're even making fun of some of your friends too!!!

HftL was created in order for ladies (whom they openly make fun of) to have a place to go to feel normal, safe to share thoughts and emotions, and just be a typical hockey-loving / hockey player-loving, red-blooded female. And honestly, they're the same, but do it in such a way that it appears to be a joke -- I've always been told that 50% of jokes are the truth anyway (so you figure it out my bitchy little "friends!")!!!!! It's pretty easy to make fun of people from behind a computer screen!!

What's the big deal about age??? Honestly, they have NO IDEA how old I am - NONE unless they're talking to other male hockey fans (who really wouldn't know either) who seem to get off on younger female hockey fans such as themselves whom would also be jail bate just a few short years ago (SUCK IT and stop supporting men who indirectly hold you to different standards and are too busy ignoring their own lives and reality in order to run their mouths to write daily novels on their opinions and thoughts which no one with any brain would give two crocks of shit about -- oh these men do take the time every so often to objectify women who were also jail bait only a few short years ago, if not STILL ARE, and I think it's pretty funny how these chicks will allow men to act like that and think it's OK but always point out FELLOW FEMALES who do similar to that with men (in a much less obnoxious manner), but make it out to be weird and perverted -- they actually look at these males "manly" or something -- WHATEVER, freaks - you dumbshits are actually allowing them to make fun of ALL FEMALES - even YOU - not just the ones you're making fun of yourselves!)!!

[OH, and I just want to mention to one certain male fan of yours that the "Cup" they have at the HHOF isn't the REAL one and the day he went to visit it - no matter what day that was / would've been - wasn't a day that the REAL ONE happened to be there - you were dry humping the wrong Cup you moron - it's a REPLICA - and if he was anykind of hockey fan, he would be aware of that!)!!!]

I have one more thing to say about age - SWEETIE, your vagina doesn't magically shrivel up and turn to dust when you turn a certain age and I AM CERTAIN that you will be finding that out in just a few short years -- as crazy and opinionated as you are with your blogs -- I would bet my life on your turning into the very women you currently make fun of. At least we turn our free time and passion into something that is positive and isn't going to negatively affect someone -- you, on the other hand, are so small that you spend your time making fun of people and things that you feel too arrogant to understand -- GROW UP!!!!!!!!

YES, my husband is ok with what I do because (1) he's not a fucking bully who tells me what I can and cannot do / think / feel / say, (2) he's a big enough man and confident enough in himself and our relationship to realize that, like him, I have not died and lost the will to look at the opposite sex because we gave each other matching rings, and (3) understands that this is something that is an enjoyable part of my life that makes me happy, so he's all for it which makes him MY BIGGEST FANTASY MAN OF ALL (SUCK THAT LADIES and maybe if you stopped being such a bitch and took the time to stop denying who you really are, you too would have that kind of a husband - or at least a husband to talk of)!!!!

And as a side note, his asshole friend who isn't big enough to make fun of him to his face is the biggest piece of shit of all. At least my husband loves and respects me enough to confront someone to defend me when he knows they've crossed the line (only to have that friend act like the chump he is and talk / make fun of it to other people who have NO CLUE what actually went on (or who have a clue at all!))!!! FUCK OFF!!!

Bottom line is that we're all alike and all human beings and none of us are perfect even if we claim to be (I'm sure there are TONS of things you don't like about yourself that you would be making fun of it was someone else!). There's always a fine line we're walking no one matter who we are - no one can avoid that when they look themselves in the mirror.

Regardless of what this results in, this will be the first AND final time that you will hear me talk about this because I don't make it a point to waste my time thinking / talking about other people's issues with me -- I say my peace and move on (I can't say the same for others, nor do I care)!! But I do feel the need now and again to defend myself and what I believe in especially when it's to someone that has no clue!!

HAVE A NICE DAY - I hope I gave you more topics for your blog since it seems to be one of the things that keep it going since you have nothing more interesting to write about!!! : )

Pens Beefcake - OOPS! I Mean Pens Team Calendar

[UPDATE]
THANKS to HftL reader, Melany, I now have pictures of the remaining months of the calendar (YOWZA!!!!) and will be posting them here ASAP, so check back!!!! : ) OH, and THANKS to my best buddy, Kena, who actually found the calendar pic of Staal (surprise, surprise!) and was the one to allow me to "break this case wide open!" - HAH!! : P

I have a bone to pick with some of you!!! I know that at least a few of you went to the game last Friday, October 23rd, so why weren't any of you kind enough to let me know about this HOT team calendar that they gave away at the game (WITH A FEW PICS?)??!!!

My luck is CRAP!!! I go to last year's game with the calendar promotion and it was, "eh," so I decided not to go to this year's promotional calendar giveaway game and LOOK WHAT HAPPENS!!!! And on top of it, none of my ladies shared any of this with me!! : (

You KNOW I love you all, but throw me a bone here!!! : P I try to provide the BEST eye candy info / pics out there, so when I miss something, would you please think of me next time??!!!! LMAO!!!

With that said, those of you that were lucky enough to get your little hands on these calendars got yourself quite a hot commodity!! Not even "my own personal Penguins merchandise supplier" has them, so I had to resort to paying $20 A PIECE for two on eBay (MERRY CHRISTMAS, Kena!) - yes, I KNOW - but isn't it SO worth it???! I mean, LOOK AT ALL OF THEM IN IT!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and do me a favor, if you find / buy one for less, PLEASE don't tell me!! ; P

And for those of you who are in my situation, here are the few pics I have -- ENJOY!!! [oh, and just an observation of mine - seeing the big difference between last year's calendar and this year's, I would definitely say that the Penguins organization are taking advantage of the good looking players they own and marketing them to the female persuasion, wouldn't you say?!!]!!

Western Conference Hottie: Saku Koivu (Anaheim Ducks)

I am delighted at the opportunity to drool on... er present Kaku Koivu, for you lovely ladies to admire. He was formerly "off limits" to me, since he played for the mob... er... Montreal Canadians in the EC. Now, he's playing for the band of street thugs also known as the Anaheim Duck(lings) so he's "fair game" for me now, as a member of the WC.

IMPORTANT HOCKEY STUFF: This part would actually be easier to write, if it was UNimportant hockey stuff. Because every thing that's important he's done. Captain of Finland's Olympic team, 3 Olympic medals, various other international achievements. Tied for longest running Captain of the Canadians. In 1994–95 he played on the team that won the Kanada-malja (Finland) Championship . In addition to earning the Veli-Pekka Ketola trophy as league scoring champion, Koivu was awarded the Kultainen kypärä award as the players' choice for the best player and the Lasse Oksanen trophy as league MVP. Drafted by the Canadians in 1993, he spent his rookie season in in the SM-liiga (Finland). He moved to North America for the 95–96 season to join the Canadiens. In his first year, Koivu ranked 4th in scoring amongst NHL rookies with 45 points in 82 games. The following season, Koivu was among the NHL leading scorers (13 goals, 25 assists and 38 points) before suffering a knee injury on December 7, 1996, in a game against Chicago Blackhawks. He missed 32 games that season but returned to finish with 56 points in 50 games. He's had all variety of injuries, legs, eyes, cancer, broken foot during the 07-08 playoffs (yes, he played on it.) He's a quiet leader, and upon his move to ANA, he asked to assume the "A" instead of the "C" so as to not upset the team chemistry.

REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF: Um, mostly, I haven't been looking at enough blond guys lately. So last week, when I was forced to watch duck games (they played the Stars). He caught my eye [again]. But really, what's not to love. He's a cancer survivor, a great dad. Played with a broken foot. I can't see how you can't fall in love right there. We don't even have to start with the fact that he's "drop-your-pants-gorgeous". Blond and blue eyed, 5'10 178 lbs. He can't manage to not look good. He's fluent in 3 languages, and this -> [ Early in the 2007–08 season in October, Koivu was criticized by nationalist lawyer Guy Bertrand for not speaking French in a videotaped pre-game ceremony. Although Koivu is fluent in English, Swedish and Finnish, he speaks limited French and is apprehensive about using it in public. He replied to Bertrand's remarks that he is not perfect, and jokingly mentioned that he speaks French to his wife during intimate moments. ] The speaking french part is always on every girls list of secret naughty daydreams.

A cute spot from the Ducks website, HERE, [and you can drool on the former blackhawk James Wisniewski (previously on HftL), also.]

The rest of the goodies - Resides in his hometown of Turku, Finland during the offseason…spent the summer at his cottage in Turku, enjoying boating activities…Saku and his wife, Hanna have two children: daughter Ilona (4) and son Aatos (3)…the family took a week-long vacation to Turks and Caicos this summer…enjoys taking bike rides with his kids, watching movies and going out for nice dinners with his wife and friends…says that if he weren’t playing hockey, he’d be a soccer player in Italy…cites U2, Live, Bruce Springsteen and Finnish singer Lauri Tahka as his favorite musical acts…also recently took in a Madonna concert…likes to watch both “24” and “Prison Break” on television…idolized fellow Finn Jari Kurri growing up…says his favorite hockey memories are participating in three Olympics with Team Finland.

More Pics of Letang's New "Do"

Alot of you (OK - ALL of you) have voiced great disdain for Letang's decision to chop off his "sex hair" and I can relate. I also know a few "Tanger lovers" who actually approve of his shorter, cleaner-cut hair as well. Maybe we just need to get used to it OR maybe it's the fact that one of the things we relate to hockey is "hockey hair" (which I'm in the middle of writing a post about). Whatever it is, I'm posting a few new pictures which highlight the new do a little better than the picture on the Penguins webpage.

Update on What Other Pens Dressed Up As for the Party

Here's even more info on the Penguins' Halloween costume party thanks to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review:

Jay McKee actually won the award for the best costume at the party dressing up as The Joker. Here's what he had to say (get a load of his prize!):

"The party was a good time," defenseman Jay McKee said. "I guess some of it carried over to practice."

"We play the credit card game," he said, "when everyone's card gets shuffled around when we go out to eat, and the loser has to pay. I get a meal-for-free card."
Other costumes (other than Fedotenko as Letterman which we already knew): Jordan Staal was a yellow, peanut M&M. As for how Fedotenko decided to dress as Letterman:
"My wife's idea," Fedotenko said. "I think it went over pretty well."
Here's Skoula's take on the Penguins as a team:
"I really like these guys," defenseman Martin Skoula said. "They know when to be serious, but they know how to have fun, too."

OH NO!!! No More Letang Sex Hair!!!!

[UPDATE]
Thanks to HftL reader, Molly, for posting a link to a VIDEO of Letang's sex hair "so we can sulk even more" (just wanted to post it here for all to enjoy!)!!!! ; )

Alert - Alert - ALERT!!!

I hate to be the one to inform all of you ladies, but I just learned that Kris Letang got his beloved "sex hair" chopped off!!!!!! [*GASP*]

I can hear a unified "NO" fall hard out of the mouths of Pens Nation as I type this. And as hard as this may be to believe, the proof is below (from the Penguins Report which notes "Letang shows off his new hair cut").

Let's have a moment of silence to honor Letang's "sex hair" which met it's demise by the hands of the devil scissors from hell!!!
WE'LL MISS YOU!!

For you die-hard "sex hair" fans, this is for you!!!

We'll just have to get our dose of "sex hair" somewhere else for now!
: (

What Other Pens Dressed Up As for Halloween

Here's a few of what the other Pens players dressed up as on Sunday for their Halloween party (sorry, no pics - the Penguins didn't post these!):

  • Kris Letang - Doofy the Cop from Scary Movie
  • Ruslan Fedotenko - David Letterman

Crosby Picture of the Week

I LOVE this picture (then again, I love all the pictures I post for "Picture of the Week" and I guess that's why they make the cut and probably why I created the weekly post in the first place!)!!! This picture also includes Malkin because, without him, it wouldn't be as cool of a picture!! Here are our two superstars giving each other mutual respect (an "atta boy" if you will)!!

NO WONDER WE LOVE THESE GUYS!!!

Eastern Conference Eye Candy: Henrik Lundqvist (New York Rangers)

HOCKEY FACTOR:
Lundqvist is a pretty loyal goalie considering he was drafted 7th in the 2000 entry draft by the New York Rangers (205th overall) and signed a six-year extension with the team back in February 2008 (reportedly for a total of $41.25 million which made him the highest paid goaltender in the NHL "on average over the length of his contract"!). So, what, that'll be around 14 years with the same organization?! Considering some players change teams like they change socks, I'd say that's pretty loyal (and pretty cool)!

He began his professional career in the Swedish Elite League with the Florunda Frölunda HC (junior hockey), oddly enough, the same year he was drafted in 2000; however, he continued to play in Sweden until making his NHL debut in 2005 (IDK - it feels like he's been playing in the league longer than that for some strange reason). Prior to that, he had only played nine games with Sweden's "second tier" before joining the junior team, Florunda Frölunda.

Henrik has also represented Sweden on more than one occasion performing quite well as he helped them win silver in two Ice Hockey World Championships in 2003 & 2004 as well as led the country to a gold medal in the 2006 Olympics as the starting goaltender for Team Sweden.

HOTNESS FACTOR:
If you haven't noticed, allow me to point out to you that Henrik Lundqvist is a WHOLE LOTTA PRETTY, ladies, and he has the cutest accent which seem to come from his leaving just a hint left of his own Swedish accent. He is the identical twin of his brother Joel who is also a professional hockey player and plays center for the Dallas Stars (which I find slightly "creepy," but I know some women find sexy [*cough - Kena - cough*], I'm not one to judge anyway and "whatever blows wind up your skirt" is what I always say! ; P

He was recently crowned "The World's Sexiest Ice Man" by Page Six Magazine - I can't argue with that (OK, I CAN and WILL -- ever hear of Sidney Crosby, Page Six Magazine??!!!)!!!

Like alot of other NHL players, Lundqvist has his own webpage (http://henrik-lundqvist.com/) that includes a blog which hasn't been updated since October of last year.

He has a longtime girlfriend whom he's been dating since just after high school. She's a fellow Swede (and pretty blond) - Therese Andersson.

"She's been with me since I was a pro in Sweden. It's good to have her as support because she knows what it's all about," he says of his blonde paramour and fellow Swede.
Some of Henrik's favorites:

  • TV show: House (he enjoys the dialogue)
  • Movie: Gladiator ("great soundtrack and picture")
  • Candy bar: Mars bar
  • Season: spring
  • Bands: Foo Fighters, Hakan Hellstrom (Swedish), Lars Winnerback (Swedish)
  • Song: My Hero - Foo Fighters
  • Drink: Coke and Vitamin Water
OK -- so there's just TOO DAMN MANY sexy pics of Henrik and you'll just have to bear with me while I post the rest of them here!!! : P

Care Bear on Ice

Eric Godard has been known as somewhat of a "prankster" (we all remember the shaving cream pie to the face of Tyler Kennedy while he was being interviewed by Dan Potash last season). Today he decided to show up to practice keeping it light-hearted wearing a Care Bear "head" on the ice. He had the players guessing for awhile (long enough for some laughs) before the "mystery bear" was revealed.

I would've honestly loved to see this (and the interaction between the guys!)!!

PenPics of the Week

This picture of Malkin and Coach Bylsma (right) says it all about last Saturday's loss to the New Jersey Devils.

I'm hoping to have the "Eastern Conference Eye Candy" sometime later today (and that this will satisfy you until then!)!! ; P
