[UPDATE] I just recently found out that the guys on the team call him by the nickname "Tangers" - how cute is that?!!
So this "eye candy" came to me by suggestion, but it didn't take very much persuading! The suggestion came from "swissmiss" who, awesomely enough, is from Europe and got a chance to see the boys (including Letang) in person at the hotel in Sweden!! Here's what she had to say:
I think it's time for an eye-candy special on Kris Letang! Not only is he smokin hot, but he's going to be stepping up this year on the PP, so deserving of our praise & attention. And he has fab hair! Check it out in this pic I took from the first game in Sweden ..(not so close up but you get the idea!)

"Yowza!" is right!! Take a look at the cool picture she sent along - GREAT picture!! I bet she enjoyed the game!!

Couldn't agree more about his "eye candy" status...and the adorable French Canadian accent doesn't hurt either :)

I did read that article, Lauren (which is where I picked up on the "Tangers" nickname -- what's even cuter is that Sid called him that)!!
I thought it was a good article for this specific post, but I didn't know how to work it in -- I think I'll try with an update including it shortly - THANKS!!

Oh, that's right Letang's hair. Oh, yes, awsome.
He is such a doll...glad to have him noticed not only for his skill on the ice, but his eye candy skill off of the ice...
ok, I make it a rule for myself to never have normal female feelings for any hockey player, cause it takes away my credability as a hockey fan (to men), but Kris Letang makes me have feelings I should not type about.
OMG I get all tangeled up inside and just stare at him in wonder.
