As intended, today will be used to do random posts!!
  • Q & A with HftL's Hockey 101 Coach:
Q - My husband and I have a question. If a player receives a penalty during overtime and it is not over when the shootout starts, can they take part in the shootout?

A - All players are eligible to participate in the shootout unless they are serving a ten-minute misconduct or have been assessed a game misconduct or match penalty.
  • Ladies, we're still accepting your questions!!
I just want to let you ladies know that we'll continue to take any questions you may have about the game of hockey that you want answered by HftL's Hockey 101 Coach, Teri for as long as you have them. We're trying to focus on things that are of interest to HftL readers, so ASK AWAY and your question could be the next one we focus on!!

As it stands now, Teri's posts may not be on any kind of regular basis until the new year since the holidays are fast approaching, but be sure to watch for her again soon (she's too much of a good thing with such a wealth of knowledge that we'd be silly to let her go now!)!!
